Terre della Baronia is a unique terroir with its 9 areas and related sub areas. The Garcitella area, where we grow this selection of Catarratto Lucido, offers a particularly suitable environment for enhancing the characteristics of this variety. Here the grapevines give life to clusters that give aromas of ripe tropical fruit rich in nuances, with greater verticality and an evident acidic backbone.

In order to enhance the thiol-tropical expression of Catarratto, the grapes are pressed while still intact under nitrogen, completing the entire production cycle up to bottling in total absence of oxygen. This is achieved by saturating the tanks and carrying out the transfers in counter pressure with nitrogen.

This wine has a beautiful intense straw yellow color with green reflections. On the nose are evident notes of white fruit, ripe pear and white melon, while it closes with an emerging complex mix of aromatic vegetable spices that reminds lemon balm. On the palate it shows an important structure, enhanced by a nice acidic note that supports the gustatory persistence.
